Much Ado About Nothing

The Gladish players proudly presents Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. This play includes two different stories of romantic love and the stories that ensue with these emotions. Hero and Claudio fall in love almost at first sight, but an outsider, Don John, strikes out at their happiness. Beatrice and Benedick are kept apart by pride and mutual antagonism until others decide to play Cupid.

Leonato - Governor of Messina

Hero - Leonato's daughter

Beatrice - Leonato's niece

Margaret - gentlewoman to Hero

Anthony/Friar Francis - Leonato's brother/ a Friar

Ursula - gentlewoman to Hero

Don Pedro - Prince of Aragon

Count Claudio - a lord

Signior Benedick - a gentleman

Balthasar - a musician

Signior Antonio/Sexton 

Don John - Don Pedro's brother

Borachio - a follower of Don John

Conrade - a follower of Doh John

Dogberry - master constable
