Center for the Arts Project Temporarily Paused for Reevaluation

The highly anticipated Center for the Arts at The Gladish Community and Cultural Center has been temporarily put on hold as we reevaluate our project’s phases, timeline, and financial strategy. While we’ve encountered unexpected challenges, we remain steadfast in our commitment to delivering a world-class arts facility that will serve the Pullman community and the greater Palouse region.

During this pause, we will be carefully assessing the plans to ensure that when the project resumes, it is both financially sustainable and meets the high standards expected by our community. The reevaluation process will allow us to provide a clear, updated timeline and phased approach to the project.

The first phase will focus on the construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art auditorium, designed to showcase performances, concerts, and community events in an innovative and inclusive space. We are excited to share more details as we finalize this first step and look forward to the transformative impact the Center for the Arts will have on the cultural landscape of our region.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who has supported this project and ask for continued patience as we adjust our plans to better serve the needs of our community. More information and updates will be shared as the new timeline is developed.
